Seidokan Saturday 295, Mettle (not to be confuse with metal, or medal, or meddle)

By World Karate Federation on

Mettle is the mental/psychological component of toughness. The famous Rocky speech about how many times you can get knocked down and still get up and keep going exemplifies the concept. Also related to resilience. One of the best things karate CAN do is develop this by progressively increasing one's pain threshhold accompanied by reward and progress. But it can only do it when pain is embraced rather than avoided. - https://utahseidokankarate.com/ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063505665000 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8NaMwTRvYXOn1OzoAhSJIw/
